PLS Logistics attended the NASSTRAC 2014 Shippers Conference & Transportation Expo on April 13-16 in Orlando, Florida at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel. NASSTRAC, the National Shippers Strategic Transportation Council, provides education, advocacy, and provider relations opportunities. The conference was attended by numerous Fortune 500 companies, the government sector and all modes of transportation.
There were more than 25 educational sessions during the 3-day event that covered topics ranging from capacity challenges, supply chain technology, hours of service and fuel surcharges to recruiting new drivers.
Matt Clinton, an Account Manager at PLS Logistics with 28 years of experience in the transportation industry, attended the conference, “The event was great for networking. I made connections and created new carrier partner relationships as well as established stronger relationships with some of our existing carrier partners.”
