CRANBERRY TWP., PA (Jan. 8, 2019) — PLS Logistics has partnered with the Kids In Need Foundation by giving an in-kind donation of its technology and supplying a classroom in the Pittsburgh area through the organizations new “Supply A Classroom” program.
The Kids In Need Foundation (KINF) is a national organization that works to distribute school supplies to students all over the world in schools where 70 percent of students are enrolled in free or reduced lunches. PLS has given the KINF access to its proprietary TMS, a reduced rate on shipments and a rebate. PLS is proud to help such an incredible organization deliver school supplies to millions of children all over the world.
The KINF makes a positive impact not only in children’s lives, but to communities as a whole. PLS will utilize its extensive network of carriers, innovative technology and negotiated rates to help the KINF integrate, simplify and optimize their supply chain and save money on shipments.
As a proud partner of the KINF, PLS has sponsored a classroom in its hometown of Pittsburgh through the KINF’s new “Supply A Classroom” program. By supplying a classroom, you provide the entire class with the school supplies they need, including essential items like pencils, scissors, paper and notebooks. PLS Logistics is honored to help serve the KINF to continue to put the school supplies in the hands of those who need it most.
