CRANBERRY TWP., PA (Oct. 22, 2019) — PLS Logistics Services held its second annual “Police Appreciation Week” in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia during the week of October 14 – 18.
PLS provided the Cranberry Township Police Department and the 6th District Philadelphia Police Department with catered lunches during its second annual “Police Appreciation Week.” PLS started the appreciation week in 2018 to show gratitude for all the hard work that the officers do for the community. This year, PLS employees traveled to Philadelphia to expand the event to one of its satellite locations in the Old City neighborhood of Philadelphia.
“Our police appreciation week is a great way to show how thankful we are for the hard-working officers and thank them for keeping our community safe,” Greg Burns, President and CEO, said. “We hope to continue the initiative and expand it in the upcoming years.”
