PLS is the leading provider of technology-based, custom third-party logistics solutions in the industries we serve. Our mission is to turn logistics into a competitive advantage for your business. We do this by harnessing the energy of over 200 logistics professionals. These are transportation experts backed by our proven processes, equipped with our exclusive technology and fully accountable for delivering superior customer service. Founded in 1991, with seven employees and a single metals customer, PLS has grown to serve a wide array of companies, including suppliers, producers, service centers and end users. Today we have over 200 employees, more than 800 customers and serve leading companies in the metals, lumber, building products, automotive, nuclear, oil and gas and industrial equipment industries. PLS has averaged over 30% annual growth since our founding, creating new service offerings for our customers, and new growth opportunities and challenges for our employees. One of the keys to our growth has been our significant investment in people and technology. PLS has developed a top notch training program for new employees and we insist on continuous training for all existing employees. As a company, we are committed to a process of continuous improvement and development. In 1999, we launched PLS PRO, our innovative, proprietary, web-based transportation management system. Through continual enhancements and investment, our state of the art PLS PRO engine enables shippers of all types and our logistics professionals to optimize supply chain efficiency for our customers. 
Today PLS ships nearly one million loads annually throughout North America. Our carrier network includes over 8,000 motor carriers with more than 60,000 trucks. We also use all Class-1 railroads, all major barge companies and operate a dedicated truck fleet. The efforts of our talented people and world-class technology are supported through our exclusive PLS process.
